Stag and hen parties, birthdays

A scenario written for one person

Twenty friends, a village centre or a stretch of seafront, and one person the whole thing is about. What makes it land is not the ground, it is what you know about them.

A stag party walking a village alley, the groom-to-be in a sash, a friend holding the phone above his head.

How it runs, start to finish

  1. You walk streets you already know and pick the spots that carry something: the bar where they had their first date, the bench, the shop with the ridiculous window.
  2. You hide the objects in the morning and stick a label on each one. Nothing is listed anywhere in public, so a stranger has no way of finding them first.
  3. You send the link in the group chat, teams split at the meeting point, and you follow the whole thing from your screen without having to walk with anyone.

What this format changes

  • The group is not being marched through somebody else’s script. Every riddle is about one person, so the jokes land for everyone standing there.
  • Nobody installs anything at the start of a long day. A link in the group chat is all a guest needs, including the two who turn up an hour late.

What to plan for

You are hiding things in a public street. Pick spots a passer-by will not stumble into, keep the objects cheap, and go back for whatever is left behind. Bars and shops usually agree if you ask them the day before.

The first hunt costs nothing

The free plan builds a whole hunt, rehearses it as often as you want in test mode, and runs it for real once a month. The core of the game is identical on every plan.
